Studio terms and conditions

 

Please read through the terms and conditions on the website thoroughly before enrolling.

When enrolling as a student of Awaken Health Wellness Yoga, 10 Railway Parade, Warrimoo 2774, you agree to the terms and conditions as laid out on the Awaken Health Wellness Yoga website www.awakenhwy.com.au  

 

Yoga studio:

• While we endeavour to deliver all our classes on time and as advertised, classes are subject to change or cancellation without notice. Awaken Health Wellness Yoga is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for classes that are late, changed or cancelled for any reason.

• Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class as late entry is discouraged out of respect for the other yogi’s.

• Leaving class early without a medical reason is strongly discouraged, please notify or discuss a need to leave early with Ash before class commences.

• Please check in Ash before each class to let her know you are present.

• Awaken Health Wellness Yoga is not responsible for the safekeeping of your belongings.

• Awaken Health Wellness Yoga has the right to refuse entry at anytime.

• Bookings are to be made via the website www.awakenhwy.com.au

• Class payment must be made upon booking unless there is a prior arrangement with Ash.

• Missed Yoga classes can not be made up by attending other workshops or events.

• You agree that you have been examined by a qualified medical practitioner within the past six months and have been found by such practitioner to be in good physical health and physically able to perform all yoga exercises.

• Classes at Awaken Health Wellness Yoga may be physically strenuous and you voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is potential risk of personal injury.

• You are encouraged to follow all instructions given to you by Awaken Health Wellness Yoga teachers and you acknowledge that any failure to do so will be at your own risk and may cause injury.

• Awaken Health Wellness Yoga is in no way liable for any injury, loss of property or death resulting from attending our studio.

• By booking into a class you automatically agree to the above terms & conditions.

 

Yoga Cancellation policy:

By paying for a class or term you are committing to the investment in yourself and the time and energy of the Yoga teacher.

• Class cancellations can be made directly through text message or via email awakenhwy@gmail.com

• If you have paid for a term of yoga classes & you miss an assigned class, you have the opportunity to make catch up classes in any of the other current & timetabled classes. Make sure to check if there is available space in other classes before showing up.

• Missed classes do not roll over to the next term block of yoga. They must be used in the same term or forfeited. 

• Private class cancellations can be made up to 24 hours before the class start time without incurring a fee.

• Students attending as a casual class who book into a class but fail to attend the class will forfeit their payment.

• Students attending as a casual class who book into a class but cancel within 2 hrs of the class will forfeit their payment.

 

Pricing:

• All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and all transactions are processed in Australian Dollars ($AUD).

• All prices are correct at the time of online publication. Prices are subject to change without notice.

• Sale items are only available at the lower price during the sale period.

• We reserve the right to amend prices and printing errors.

• Prices may increase from time to time to reflect increases in cost & benefits.

• All purchases are final. Awaken Health Wellness Yoga does not offer refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions on services, workshops or products for change of mind, injury, illness, change of address or any other reason.

• Awaken Health Wellness Yoga reserves the right to pass on the cost of any additional bank fees which may incur from disputed or failed transactions regarding a students account.

 

Workshops & Events:

events at Awaken HQ (THE STUDIO):

• Payment needs to be made upon booking (or otherwise stated).

• Please arrive at least 10 mins before the scheduled start time of the workshop/event. 

• Awaken Health Wellness Yoga does not offer refunds or credits on workshops for change of mind, injury, illness or any other reason within 24hrs of the workshop/event. All purchases are final.

• Workshop cancellations, for any reason, within 72-48hrs may be eligible for a refund of half the cost of the workshop/event to allow for event cost & preparation.

• Workshop cancellations, for any reason, longer than 72hrs before the event will be eligible for a refund of 70% of the cost of the workshop/event to allow for event cost & preparation.

• Please note that any refund will incur a Paypal processing fee (set by Paypal), which will be deducted from any refund.

• If you cannot attend, you may transfer your workshop ticket into another person’s name by calling or emailing awakenhwy@gmail.com at least 2 hours before start of workshop. Or the night before if it is a morning event.

• Any no show or absence will result in forfeiting that workshop/event. If you do not attend a booked workshop/event you will be charged.

Retreats:

• A non refundable deposit must to be paid upon booking to secure your placement.

• Please arrive on time for the scheduled start time of the retreat.

• Awaken Health Wellness Yoga does not offer refunds or credits on retreats for change of mind, injury, illness or any other reason within 7 days of the retreat. All purchases are final.

• Retreat cancellations, for any reason, within 14 days may be eligible for a refund of half the cost of the retreat if the position can be filled by another paying customer.

• Retreat cancellations, for any reason, longer than 21days before the event may be eligible for a refund minus the non refundable booking deposit if the position can be filled by another paying customer.

• If you paid for the retreat through Paypal, please note that any refund will incur a processing fee (set by Paypal), which will be deducted from any refund.

• If you cannot attend, you may transfer your Retreat ticket into another person’s name by calling or emailing awakenhwy@gmail.com at least 24hrs before start of the retreat.

• Any no show or absence will result in forfeiting the retreat. If you do not attend a booked retreat you will be charged.

Class passes:

• 10 class passes are valid for 6 months after first use only.

• Awaken Health Wellness Yoga does not offer refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions on 10 class passes for change of mind, injury, illness, change of address or any other reason. All purchases are final.

• Passes cannot be shared. 

• The class passes exclude attendance at workshops.
